FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will my RTO need to submit a scope application for the new 10904NAT Diploma of Social Media Marketing, even if we already have the 10904NAT Diploma on scope?

All RTOS who wish to deliver the new 10904NAT Diploma will be required to submit a scope application to have the new course added to scope.

As the new 10904NAT Diploma is a renewed qualification for the 10118NAT Diploma, RTOs who already have the 10118NAT Diploma on scope will only need to submit the Letter of Permission from Social Media College, and not the Training and Assessment Strategy nor course resources.

Please find the exact extract from ASQA confirming this:

From ASQA: When applying for the renewed course where an RTO holds scope of the previous version, RTOs are not required to submit a Training and Assessment Strategy, course content or training and assessment tools for each unit comprised within the new Diploma of Social Media Marketing. They do however have to submit proof of permission to deliver the course e.g. Letter of Permission or license agreement etc.

In addition to this, should you be applying for CRICOS registration of the course simultaneously you will need to provide additional details for the submission, this will include a timetable for delivery of 10904NAT Diploma of Social Media Marketing.
