Social Media Management Platforms

Social Media Management Platforms

Everyone who has managed a social media marketing campaign understands the time and resource required to properly enhance your social media presence and run a successful marketing campaign. Between work, home, hobbies, friends and family life, we can’t think of anyone who couldn’t use a few extra hours in the day. Social media management platforms have been designed to make our lives easier, from scheduling to suggesting great content, they are a must if you want to create a more efficient working day.

Here are our favorite social media management platforms that are guaranteed to create more efficiency in your day when running social media marketing.

1. Hootsuite

Hootsuite is a free scheduling tool that allows you to connect up to 3 social media channels (you can pay for more if you wish) so that you can schedule your postings up to months in advance! Hootsuite have some fantastic tools to make your life easier, such as their new and improved 'Suggestion' tool which will find great content for you to share based on your key categories.

BufferApp and Sprout Social are also fantastic tools to assist in schedule and managing your social media marketing campaign effectively, it really comes down to personal preference.

2. Viraltag

Viraltag explains it best in the copy on their homepage, “Save time and drive traffic by publishing your viral content to multiple social networks with a single click.”. It does come at a fee however their customer reviews say it is well worth the investment.

3. Follwerwonk

Albeit the funny name, Follwerwonk, is a true gem to utilize for the Twitter-universe. The social media tool searches Twitter bios for unique keywords to help you connect with your target market and other connections you may be seeking. It can also create follow reports so you have the low-down on where your followers are located, who they’re following and more.

4. Bit.ly

Bit.ly allows you to shorten links and also track the number of clicks each link is receiving. A handy tool for social media platforms that restrict character count (not to mention the fact that posts look cleaner without all of the crazy characters) and also allows you to go back when you have time to see what worked and what you should switch-up.

You will find that majority of the social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social and BufferApp will have the ability to do this as well).

5. Latergram.me

Latergramme is essential for those of us with particularly hectic schedules. It allows you to schedule your Instagrams ahead of time and all from the convenience of your mobile device. You do however have to be near your smartphone to approve the Instagram (a mere swipe will do) when it’s set to go live.

6. SEMrush

SEMrush is a favorite of ours in the SMC office. It allows users to identify the keywords that helps a site climb the ranks. You see where we’re going with this? Higher ranking = More engagement. More engagement = Better web presence. Better web presence = More money, better brand, more opportunities.
